Toby Wikström, Project Manager at the University of Island Graduate School, led an international group of PhD researchers through the workshop "Turbocharge your Professional Development: PhD Networking and Career Planning” at the Vilnius Tech PhD Summer School on July 11, 2024.

When relocating, Toby advice to try to network before you arrive with another international colleague who has relocated before you. You don’t have to reinvent the wheel!

He is interested in connecting with people to learn more about how international academic recruitment works across the Atlantic, with a special interest in the question of internal recruitment.
